Jump, Jive An´Wail - LIVE -

A fantastic song from Setzers incredible "The Dirty Boogie" - album. For us a milestone we can not ignore. There is no doubt why "Jump, Jive An Wail" received a grammy in 1998. Of course on the setlist on top. This version is from our kick-off gig in beginning of 2013 in Neu-Isenburg. Start dancing, if you can ...

Baby, baby it looks like it's gonna hail
You better come inside
Let me teach you how to jive and wail

Stray Cat Strut

A classic crossover. Rockabilly art its best. Part of the first Stray Cats album, Setzers song combined it with the swinging PinkPantherTheme-Jazzstandard. Recorded @ Jazz in der Burg Dreieichenhain in 2014.

Black and orange stray cat sittin' on a fence
Ain't got enough dough to pay the rent
I'm flat broke, but I don't care
I strut right by with my tail in the air

Gettin´ In The Mood

Who cares who made this song famous...Setzer's interpretation went down in music history. The Dirty Horns enact this wearing a freshly pressed white shirt in honor of Miller! Check out the fantastic rap of our trombone player Fred Birt in the Bridge

And when I'm in the mood I spread it all around
I might be the man want his party on the run
And when you see me comin’ just call me Big King Fun

Rock This Town

This Stray Cats song from the 80s was a tipping point within the rockabilly-revival as it made it into the Top Ten of the U.S.-Charts. It made its way into the "Rock and Roll Hall of Fame" and turned rock precisely into what it is today: of course, rock! Listen in to our version as we played it as a grande finale at our premiere with Joachim mastering the Gretsch and the horns blasting away.... Includes some hectic air guitar specials you do not want to miss. At 3:00 and 7:30...

Well my baby and me went out late Saturday night

I had my hair piled high and my baby just looks so right . . .

The Dirty Boogie

Dirty Boogie, what else! Duty and mission for the first, the one...and the only European Brian Setzer Orchestra tribute. Setzer's breakthough as he received two Grammys and 3 million sold albums. Listen in on our live show from Mai 5th, 2013 in Friedberg, Hessen.

Well, I gotta little boogie but it ain't too clean,

It's real low down and it's kinda mean

Mack The Knife - feat. Miss Nuwanda -

An evergreen megahit! The Brecht/Weil version adapted by Marc Blitzstein. After numerous cover versions of Louis Armstrong, Frank Sinatra, Robbie Williams as well as the female powerhorses Ella Fitzgerald, Eartha Kitt und Milva, now Inka "Nuwanda" Stemmler is giving her very own interpretation for us. Of course also performs by famous shark Brian Setzer on stage

Oh, the shark has pretty teeth dear
And he shows 'em, pearly white

 . . .

Good Rockin´ Daddy

Etta James brought this song into the U.S. Top 10 in 1955. Simply, because its great. Numerous artists have taken it up. The Brian Setzer Orchestra as well of course. In our version, Fred Birt as lead vocalist at the kickoff gig in the spring of 2013.

You can really go go go
Jumpin fast or rockin slow
I will see ya when the band gone blow
Now hold it, dont move it
Now boogie some more

 . . .

Sleepwalk

A wonderful instrumental with sense and sensitivity! Santo & Johnny’s “Sleep Walk” was prized by Broadcast Music Incorporated in 1999 for having been broadcasted over two million times on U.S. radio stations. Setzer’s orchestra received a Grammy for their version in 1998. We took it upon ourselves to softly awaken this masterpiece…listen in on  Joachim Villwock magic
